HackTV Underground was created in early 2006 as a spin off of HackTV. The show was meant to be a show by hackers, for hackers; completely community driven. The series produced a handful of episodes, but was eventually stopped in the summer of 2006, most likely due to lack of submissions. From the website, “This new series is called “HackTV: Underground” because it is made by you, the credible hackers of the underground. No amateur shows trying to get on TV. No TechTV outcasts trying to turn a buck on merchandising. No copycats who just want to see their face on the internet. This show is about you. It is about us as hackers.”
